ESG Energy And Emissions Reporting - Data Acquisition And Data Analytics
Businesses subject to emissions reporting under Chapter 2M of the Corporations Act, or those supplying such entities, must report emissions or assist clients with Scope 3 reporting. As emissions reporting becomes standard, companies need more detailed energy data to identify emissions risks and mitigation strategies, which can also lead to lower energy costs and emissions. Automating energy data collection and reporting simplifies the process, as invoice data alone doesn’t provide the insights necessary to reduce consumption. Many businesses struggle with manually calculating their energy use breakdown, which is time-consuming. An automated sub-metering solution offers real-time data, making it easier to identify opportunities to cut costs and emissions. This presentation will discuss how data acquisition methods can reduce compliance costs while helping businesses lower energy expenses and emissions.

AI Driven Quality 5.0
Maintaining and improving quality is key for sustainability in manufacturing. Industry 5.0 offers great opportunities towards a human-centered approach towards quality in manufacturing that can lead to reducing waste, thereby increasing energy efficiency across the manufacturing value chain. Underpinned by Internet-of-Things (IoT) and Artificial Intelligence (AI) technologies, Industry 5.0 proffers opportunities for real-time quality monitoring and prediction in inbound and outbound supply chains, as well as in manufacturing plants. This talk will use real-world examples to highlight how applying AI can lead to improved product quality and consistency.
