Program Overview
 
Covid-19  had created massive disruption to the global supply chain, impacting all businesses as their transportation for land, air, and the sea came to a complete halt in March/April 2020. This phenomenon has revealed the inadequacy in risk management in many global organizations for not adopting a holistic approach to managing risks. COSO ERM June 2017 stated that many corporations attempting to implement ERM were often not enterprise-wide in scope, and applications of ERM were rarely integrated with strategy-setting. 15031000 February 2018 reiterated the effectiveness of risk management would depend on its integration into the organization's governance, including decision-making. This requires support from stakeholders, particularly top management.
 
This 8-week program will adopt best practices of enterprise risk management (ERM) principles, frameworks, and policies from the latest 15031000 February 2018 Risk Management and the latest COSO ERM June 2017. Participants will learn to develop and implement processes that identify, measure, monitor, control, and mitigate risks across the enterprise with best practices on risk assessment techniques derived from IEC/I5O31010 and COSO ERM 2017 standards. Participants will learn to build the enterprise risk management framework that integrates, designs, implements, evaluates, and improves risk management across the organization.

This 8-week program is accredited by the Swiss Institute of Management and Innovation (SIMI) based in Switzerland and the Accreditation Service for International Schools, Colleges and Universities (ASIC) of the United Kingdom. This dual accreditation ensures the Certified Enterprise Risk Officer Certificate meets the highest design, training material, delivery, and assessment standards. Participants shall be awarded the certificate - of Certified Enterprise Risk Officer upon passing all assessments.

Training Methodology
 
This 8-week program is interactive; every participant will participate fully in group discussion, exercises, and case studies. Step-by-step guidance on developing, establishing, and implementing an enterprise risk framework will be taught to each participant. The trainer will coach each participant and ensure that each participant can execute the ERM framework in addition to the stipulated training hours. 
 
Who Should Attend This Program
 
Anyone currently working in the risk management department, compliance department, and internal audit are welcome to join this certification program.
 
Course Requirements
 
Participants should have three years of practical experience in risk and/or audit-related experiences. They need to have pre-requisite knowledge in finance and capital markets.

This certificate is awarded upon fulfilling all assessment requirements by both SIMI of Switzerland and ASIC of the United Kingdom.
